Your Thoughts on the Best Pay Fantasy Football Vendor

Postby doctorlw » Fri Aug 17, 2007 4:13 pm

This is the first year I think I am going to spring for a premium fantasy football league.

In the past I've gone with Yahoo's free league, and been consistently happy with it. A couple of guys in the league say Yahoo sucks, and would prefer ESPN or CBS. I think ESPN is awful, so that is out of the question. CBS I am not really comfortable switching to either, considering only a couple guys are making the push. Looking at strictly the features offered by these sites, I honestly don't see anything that distinguishes one vendor from another. As such I am still leaning strongly toward Yahoo Fantasy Plus since that is what most are comfortable with, but I want to be fair and at least consider other options.

Any options, even little sites that aren't that well known, are also welcome.

So, what I am asking of all of you is: What do you use now? What have you used in the past? Positive and negative experiences?

I've been on it for about 5 years now and it is excellent. You can post team logos, awesome message board and live chat option. All stats are tracked for players with drop down menus to order them based on any stat. Propose trades, waivers, options galore. I'm not sure the cost but our commissioner pays up front every year then collects ten bucks from everyone at the draft. It is WAY worth it compared to the crap free ones.
