Nobody watches preseason football?

Its not that no one watches, its just a lot harder to put stock in what happens in them and so its a lot harder to discuss ...thats why I just start threads and ramble

I've only caught the Eagles games, but this is what I've picked up:

- Rookie TE Celeck is going to take away LJ Smith's job if he doesnt improve
- Jeremy Bloom will probably be the new #4 WR, maybe 3rd if Baskett doesn't get better
- The running game will miss Andrews severely
- Takeo Spikes looks real good, and importantly, healthy
- Rookie FA Nick Graham keeps playing like this and he'll be the nickel CB by season's end
- Lito Sheppard is underrated (how many even consider him for top 5 CB?)

- Delhomme is not a safe bet this year
- McNair doesn't look his age out there

I didn't get to see much of the games but after watching the highlights and checking on stats the main things I took away are:

AP deserves all of the manlove he's getting in this post.
I'm happy just snagging McNabb late in a dynasty draft, I may not get a full season from him but when he's out there he'll be solid.
Atlanta may have FINALLY found a WR in Laurent Robinson. 2 weeks as their top WR in preseason definitely flags him for further observation.
Chris Brown still has a shot to be starter in CAR.
Vince Young is still young. I think he'll bounce back but he's definitely not polished yet.
Minn's defense has some talent, could be underrated.

Feel free to correct me on these, as I said, these aren't from watching the games so if someone's stats are not representative of their performance let me know (C. Brown, L. Robinson, etc...)

Yeah, I watch preseason. Mainly Dallas games and whatevers on broadcast TV. And I won't go out of my way to clear out my nights.

All I have to mention is that my boy James Jones has caught 10 passes for 116 yards and 2 touchdowns so far in Preseason.

I watch Steelers games, and if there's absolutely nothing on TV and I don't feel like watching a DVD, I'll turn on something else. Even though it's after 6 months of no live football, it's hard to call preseason games live football anyway.
