Blind bidding dollar amounts

Hi all,

We're using AOL's blind bidding system and I wanted to get some thoughts.

We're not having a cap, just using the dollars to decide who get's the free agent. What's a good dollar amount to set for the season? I was thinking 100.00.

We plan to have free agency open up after the bids are decided and end on Sun. at kickoff, I wonder what day of the week would be best to have the bidding end. I was thinking Sat. morning because often times you don't get full player info until after practice on Fri., but I thought people might think that's too late in the week to find out who they got.

Anyone ever use AOL's blind bidding? I've used bidding before, but not the automatic feature. I assume once you use the money it's gone and you don't get it back if you drop that player? That's the way I want it otherwise it becomes similar to a salary cap league.
