Commish changing the scoring system after the draft

Postby Script-Ohio » Wed Aug 22, 2007 2:31 pm

Just curious what everyone's opinion is.
My league drafted on Saturday and yesterday, the commish changed the scoring system without telling anyone. He changed the penalty for interceptions, and added return yards/TDs to defenses.
He also does control a team in the league.
Now this league is just among friends, for fun so it's not a HUGE deal.
What would your reaction be to this? If it were a money league that'd be enough for me to never let the guy commish again. Since it's a friends league though?

This is 100% not OK. The draft is based on the rules and settings for the league. Player values change based on those settings.

He changed it back, definitely the right move.

Is this guy new to the game?????

No way you change the scoring system after the draft.
In our league any "rule" changes are voted on by all and normally don't take effect until the next season.
The Commish is suppose to interpet rules not change them.

Fun or not, this is wrong and should be brought to his attention .
