I know this is a stretch. However, GB is looking pretty good this preseason. Favre loves his new rookie WR target. I've already heard comparisons of Jones being this year's Colston. Their rookie RB has looked good as well. I know GB didn't do much against Pitt, preseason is preseason, and Favre is getting up there in age with diminishing skills, but GB's offensive line has improved and they play in a division with less than stellar pass defenses(Minnesota, Detroit).
yes Favre is a lot older than Brees, but his arm's probably just as strong and come on...Brees is a very very good quarterback, but he's not Brett Favre, I don't agree that Favre is this year's Brees, but it's not like it isn't in the realm of possibility, definitely in the realm of possibility.
The Pack will make the playoffs this year. I'm don't think it will be because of Brett Favre, but because of our stout young defense (not that Favre won't contribute).
It'd be nice to see him go out like Elway... but I'm not that optimistic.

Aww, come on. That logic could be used on just about anything.
As for finding this year's Saints, I honestly don't think we'll have one this year. Too many things have to go right for any team to duplicate what the 2006 Saints did.
Who was the better quarterback, Brett Favre at the top of his game (whenever you consider that to be), or Peyton Manning at the top of his game (whenever you consider that to be, though I assume that he's still at the top of his game at this point)?

Brett was MVP three times in a row, Peyton was MVP twice in a row. But Peyton still has some good years ahead of him, so I can't give an honest answer.

So are they your NFC Wildcard or do you really think they're going to take the NFC North?
I see Brett Favre as last year's Brett Favre. Can't count him out, but meh. Drew Brees will probably repeat as this year's Drew Brees. He's got the genetics going for him, at least.
