Watch out for Erickson's Defense and Ryan "The Train" Torrain's rushing. I have been to camp T and a bunch of night practices and I like what I see. I am also VERY impressed with Rudy Carpenter. I think he is over his sophmore slump
Looking forward to thanksgiving night when we play the condoms.

I believe it was in 1928. I thought you were one of the more knowledgable college football fans on here and would already know that??
Actually, it officially became known as the Pac-10 in 1978. It was known as the PCC (Pacific Coast Conference) in 1928, and there is some dispute as to whether or not the Pac-10 can claim the PCC as its own history.

They may not have the name but when the conference is made up of UCLA, USC, Oregon, Oregon State, Stanford, Cal, Washington, Washington State, Idaho and Montana you are basically the Pac-10. They had 8 of the current 10 members not including the Arizona schools, no matter what you call it, the confernce was basicallly the Pac-10.
Wow. I just read the lamest thing ever. Cal will be handing out 50,000 megaphones to its fans for Saturday night's game against Tennessee. How this is allowed I don't know. I know they're not going to be able to put 100,000+ people in the stadium like Tennessee was able to do in Knoxville last year so it won't be as loud but this is just plain obnoxious. I know the SEC cracked down on South Carolina a few years back because of the usage of a rooster crow they played all too often as well as Mississippi State for allowing Cowbells in the stadium and I think the Pac-10 should step in here and do something.

I agree. Artificial noise makers should not be allowed in college football, across the board.

I am watching the MSU game now and they are allowed to use the cowbells. Maybe they changed the rule
The announcers said the opposing team can ask the refs to do something about the noise, though. Strange rule. They said the officers are supposed to confiscate the cowbells on the way in, but you know that rule is not enforced in Stark-vegas.
