LT TO Wayne Thomas Jones @ 48 Brandon Jacobs @49 Rivers
pretty damn pumped at getting TJ and Jacobs back to back that late.
In my 12-team money 2-keeper league, we have one owner who really doesn't get it, but he came back this year. His most bizarre pick this year - Dwayne Jarrett at 4.04. It was an in person draft, and everyone was just kinda like "uhhhhh."
But the thing is, the same thing happened last year, when he took Brandon Lloyd in round 3. I don't want to know what the hell is going on in his head!
Surprises in my qb friendly ten team draft; Vince Young being taken before Romo, Rivers, or McNabb Kitna falling to me in the 11th round. Norwood falling to the 8th round. Deangelo going in the 3rd round. Hass drafted in the 11th round.
QB's Palmer, Kitna RB's SA, Henry, Edge, Chester Taylor, MBell WR's Lee Evans, Branch, RBrown, Coles, BMarshall TE's Shockey K's Nedney D NE
I'm in a 9 team nonkeeper scoring league. I had the 4th pick. We Start 2 QB's, 3 RBS, 3 WRS, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 Defense. Here's my picks Larry Johnson (4) Carson Palmer (15) Torry Holt (22) Steve Smith (33) Thomas Jones (40) Adrian Peterson (51) Lee Evans (58) Deshaun Foster, Tatum Bell, Ladell Betts, Brian Leonard, DJ Hackett, Jericho Cotchery Jake Delhomme, Steve McNair, Huard Crumpler
I mean, I dont even know what to say about this. The kid failed to show up for the draft, and Yahoo selected for him. I'm not sure if there was a glitch or his preranks were funny or what. But here's the first round. Tell me if you can spot the surprise:
. LaDainian Tomlinson 2. Steven Jackson 3. Frank Gore 4. Larry Johnson 5. Shaun Alexander 6. Joseph Addai 7. Jason Campbell 8. Willie Parker 9. Rudi Johnson 10. Brian Westbrook

Just did a draft with 6 experienced fantasy owners, 6 newcomers. Interesting to say the least.
The 1st round went pretty normal, with the only potential reach being Maroney at 8th. The 2nd round Chad Johnson went off the board 14th overall, before Steve Smith. No defenses went until round 8, in which about 8 defenses were drafted. QBs were funky with the top 5 going earlier than usual and guys like Kitna and Leinart hanging around a round or more past their usual spot. RBs fell, Kevin Jones in the 13th, Lamont Jordan in the 10th, Brandon Jacobs in the 5th, Portis 33rd overall (Lynch was 32nd overall) WRs were for the most part taken at their ADP, though Chambers fell to round 9. Rookie WRs were too highly valued. Guys like Dwayne Jarrett, Robert Meachem, Ted Ginn Jr, all have roster spots, and it was only 16th rounds deep. Someone took Nate Kaeding in round 7 or 8.
All and all, I was surprised by how close all the teams came out though doing a draft with 6 usual drafters and 6 wildcard drafters. With the exception of one horrendous team (Stephen Jackson, and everything else is subpar) all the teams look like they can contend for the playoffs.

All Trent wants to do is go to his TE's and checkdown runner, or slot receiver....just like he did in KC. Terrible! On the other hand Berrian has Grossman trying to throw to him who just holds on to the ball waaaay too long. Wasn't sold on Tater either, but when I saw Foster there, I about crapped myself! Gonna have to get that guy!
if you keep chambers over berrian you will kick yourself for it all year....
berrian is just getting better and chambers is just getting worse...grossman has a cannon, green is old as hell...the bears offense clicks better, has more weapons and a better o line, and berrian is a huge deep threat...chambers will end up being a slot again to try and get teh ball more, and you will be stuck with him giving you 3.5 points a week, trust me...berrian is good to get over 10 any given week with the deep threat
