Sorry about the confusion. On the FFTOC website you will see how the style of play works, but everything is framed as if you are doing one of their large games. My league is a private commissioner league run through their website. Right now we have 17 participants, with the capacity for 30.
Style of play is exactly the same. There is no draft. You pick a new team every week and you get points based on the player's performance. Once you pick a player you lose him from your player pool. After 12 weeks the top 1/3 of the league advances to a 4 week playoff. The points will reset for the playoffs, but the player pool does not, so you have to balance saving good players for the playoffs, but using enough of them to get there. It is really strategic. Of the playoff teams, about 1/3 get paid, based on a formula I have depending on how many people are actually in the league. At 17 people, 6 make the playoffs and 2 get paid.
