Probably a Stupid Question

Ok, I am totally new to this. Im not computer illiterate, but I am definitely sig illiterate. I don't have photoshop on my computer, but I do have some programs that might work the same. Do any of these programs work to create a sig?
1. Macromedia Dreamweaver 4
2. Macromedia Fireworks 4
3. Macromedia Fontographer 4.1
4, Macromedia Flash Mx
5. Macromedia Freehand 10

To make a long story short, my computer got jacked a while back. I ended up getting it back with these programs on it, but I have no idea how to use them, if one of them works for sigs please let me know which one to try out. Thanks!

i no Dreamweaver, Fireworks, and Flashg dont make sigs, I dont know about fontographer, but I doubt it does because of its name. I am not sure aboutr freehand, but If I had to guess I dont think you could. Your best bet if you dont have photoshop is to download GIMP, it is free, and a lot like photoshop I have heard

Oh man, that's not what I wanna hear. Guess I'll have to try out this Gimp program. I'm gonna look for some video tutorials similar to the one's posted here in the stickied thread. If anyone knows of any vid tutorials for gimp let me know...Thanks
