How to draft after LT?

Postby Peks » Sun Sep 02, 2007 3:17 pm

10 team PPR league
QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, W/R, TE, K, DEF

So I got the first pick. What to do in rounds 2 and 3? I'd like to go QB+WR or WR+WR but I think I have to pick a RB there since I need 3 starting RB's and leaving my 2nd best RB for later rounds is probably not a good idea.

im a firm believer in if you land s jax or LT, you can go qb, wr afterwards, they put up points like 2 backs, LT was scoring like 30 points a week, 2 backs wouldnt even touch that, so you could be playing marion barber or a td vulture at your 2nd rb spot and be just fine, but if you play 3 backs id always focus on getting enough backs, but its 10 teams, backs like barber, drew, jacobs should be around a little while

WR, WR, RB, QB/WR/RB

Get 2 top 10 WR's, still get another solid back and then a QB if value is there.

Depends who is available when it gets back to you. People who adhere to concrete strategies are suckers.

If you can combo LT with Portis and a WR you feel is worthy, its a no brainer.

I was in the same position. The only difference is I needed 2 RB's and could go for a WR or RB in my flex. This is a 12 man PPR league I drafted in. Here is my team.. Not bad? I figure with LT,Romo,Chad Johnson,Wayne,Lee Evans and Colston I can put up some points

QB Romo
RB LT
RB L. Jordan (I'll take my chances)
WR Chad Johnson
WR Wayne
Flex Lee Evans
TE McMichael
K Elam
D Jags

BENCH
WR Colston
RB Dunn
QB Losman
WR Greg Jennings
WR James Jones
TE Scaife
