anyone else high on reggie brown? i took him as my wr2 in my main league (12 teams). andy reid said that reggie brown was "ready to take the next big step", he didn't do much in the preseason but i'm not looking into that too much. say 1100 yds and 10 tds.

Donovan McNabb is a scoring machine when he's healthy and he has to throw to somebody. It just might be Reggie Brown on the receiving end of most of the TD passes this year.

I'm not so high on Reggie. He played the best last year with McNabb out. McNabb seemed to love Stallworth when he played and Curtis is a similar kinda guy (very speedy).

I know it was just preseason, but McNabb seemed to throw an awful lot more passes Kevin Curtis' way last week ...

All preseason. I like Reggie Brown, but I'd much rather take Curtis later as McNabb seems to like throwing to him a lot more, and I dont doubt those guys have yet to define who is WR1 and who is WR2.

Kevin Curtis is overrated. McNabb is just throwing to him to make sure he can catch when it'll count...

Yeah I'm high on Reggie Brown. Curtis will keep double coverage away and Brown should see a ton of yards. I got him as a #3 WR in my main 12 team league and I'm extremely happy about that.

Curtis will never, NEVER, be a #1 WR. There is a reason the Rams let him go and brought in Bennett. Brown is #1 and will remain the target of most of McNabb's passes...

curtis isnt very fast actually. stallworth is much faster. curtis is more "quick" than fast, but needless to say reggie brown wont catch 1100 and 10 tds. i think highly of him but i think 65-70 catches 1000 yds and 7 tds would be a pretty good projection. 1100 and 10 tds is pretty much the max.

i guess you have to look at as fisrtly, how many yds wil mcnabb throw for? i'll use the last 3 years to project. in 2004 he threw for 3875 in 15 games, 2005 2500 in 6, 2006 2600 in 10. if you project what he would have thrown for had he made it through the last 2 years each year he would have thrown for over 4000 yds. let's assume that mcnabb stays healthy and throws for over 4000 yds.

basing this on past stats...

800 yds to TE's
800 yds to RB's
which leaves 2400 yds to go to wr's

so who get's those yds? who knows, but having hear what andy reid has said about reggie brown, i think they expect more of him this year and i think he will be taking the lion's share of those yards.
