10 team league... Did I have a bad draft?

Postby Wensley » Tue Sep 04, 2007 1:03 pm

Standard scoring, No ppr, start QB, 2 Rb, 3 Wr, Te, K, Def
10 team league, I picked 6th

Depth at WR concerns me. Especially since we start 3. Should I grab another? Was Joe Horn a bad pick?
Is it stupid to have three QB's?
Thanks for the help!

My team

Qb - Jon Kitna, Eli Manning, Matt Schaub

Rb - Frank Gore, Travis Henry, Marion Barber, DeAnjelo Williams, Chester Taylor

Wr - Larry Fitzgerald, Plaxico Burress, Mark Clayton, Joe Horn

Te - Antonio Gates

K - Josh Brown

Def - Minnesota
Monday Morning Quarterback

Not too bad - not sure why ya grabbed 3 QB's - should have used one of those picks for another WR. Solid at RB, although Gore and Henry are the only clearcut starters on their teams - the other 3 are all involved in some kind of RBBC, but hopefully should still produce.

I think you did very well. My only concern would be the lack of depth at WR (as you mentioned). Drop your third QB and scan the waiver wire for a WR to replace him. In a 10-team league there's a good chance there might be a decent sleeper out there (Brandon Marshall, for example). In my experience you can do fine rotating three mediocre WRs in the WR3 spot.
