I need a no S&!T depth chart...

Postby Max Power » Tue Sep 04, 2007 7:51 pm

Im sick of every site having different depth charts, and I dont really feel like going to every single offical team webpage to find out the correct depth charts...

Anyone know of a site that offers the closest thing to the offical charts?
ESPN's is different from yahoo's which is differnet from foxsports/fantasyguys/SI... NFL.com doesnt even have the depth charts filled out on its site.

Sorry, im just a little pissed cause I based a big $$$ league draft off a ESPN depth chart and it might not be right now.
Oh, people can come up with statistics to prove anything, Kent. Fourty percent of people know that.

I share your frustration, my friend. I've been looking for "real" depth charts for some time. I honestly don't think they exist. :-C

I use fftoday.com I think they are pretty accurate. Things are constantly changing on team and some coaches don't offer enough information to be able to create accurate ones. Th eone at fftoday offers both actual as well as fantasy depth chart per team.

I use footballguys.com. They have very nice depth charts. I guess you could always use the depth charts from the actual team's website. I can't believe they'd be any worse then the stuff on Yahoo and such.

Most places might be a little messed up now with the roster cuts and waiver moves that are still going on.. I use the footballguys.com one and it's usually fairly accurate.

I am upset because prior to my draft I noticed the league was set up to reward return yards (20yds = 1pt) and is a 1pt PPR league

So my master plan was to grab Wes Welker in the early late rounds and use him as my #3/4 WR. Looking at league settings he finished as the 19th rated WR.

So I first looked at ESPN to see if he would return kicks in NE, then knowing how belichick is, I figured I would confirm it so I checked football guys.com and it had the same info.

Come to cafe the next day feeling good. Read an thread about returners and see that Hobbs will be taking kicks. So of course that is what is says on the pats offical website's depth chart.

overall it was my fault and I am just frustrated that a mutli-billion dollar company like ESPN cant get depth charts right at the point of the season when fantasy drafts are in full swing...

Disapointing :-[

No S&!T depth charts don't exist, it's like a myth; the likes of the chupacabra or better yet, bigfoot. You can always spot a look-a-like but it's not the real thing.

A lot of teams don't publish their depth charts on their website.
