Those guys might not even be the biggest names in soccer anymore. Ronaldinho might be, but certainly not Beckham since I doubt many Europeans even think about him anymore. Cristiano Ronaldo might have taken the crown away from both of those guys as the biggest international sports star.

Federer might push them. Granted I'm not much of a tennis fan, but the guy is on a level of Tiger Woods dominance, if not better. Tennis seems to be a big deal to a significant portion of the population, and this man is the sport's Michael Jordan.

peyton manning and brady don't register internationally, not even close. Beckham might be on the tail end of his career, but in terms of "name" he is one of the most famous people in the world. I'd say any discussion of this ilk has to by definition count Yao Ming, considering his stature in China.
