So, how many times do you think Manning picked this guy apart in practice? No wonder they let him go...

In his defense, the last two TDs it looked like he was obviously expecting safety help. I'm not quite sure why, though, because it looked like the safety on his side had a slot receiver to cover both times. The first time, he was just beat by Harrison. The other two times, it looked like he didn't understand what was going on and just let Wayne run right past.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him be the nickel back next week. I'm surprised they didn't put someone else in there after the first two TDs.

And his strip of Wayne and the TD the other way was more luck than anything. Wayne almost broke that tackle and his hand just happened to slide across the ball.

In any case, it must suck to be a Saints fan right now. I regret starting Devery Henderson, that's for sure.

(On a separate note, why does NBC have the Touchdown graphic in bright yellow...I kept thinking their was a penalty on every TD play...)

i'm not going to say anything that hasn't already been said about him, but he's an average at best corner and probably more suited as a nickel back

but as you said, that's why we got rid of him. And fot a 4th rounder in return to boot! ;-D

Honestly I'm not so sure there is much to be ashamed of. Harrison and Wayne are among the best! If you're going to get beat, might as well be by the best.
