Pretty much yea. In that first pic it looks like the guy on the rear left tire is getting low to try and get as much leverage as possible.

Ok, I've not really studied crash sites for cars, so I may be really stupid but I don't get the part about the car going 83 mph to leave the skid mark, and then it's still going 75 when it hit the barricade? I mean if the distance of the skid mark determines the speed (that makes sense), then where did the additional 75 miles per hour come from? Did he floor it, or was he doing more like 120+ when this all started? Can anyone teach me something here?

Wow. The pictures may not look like much (at least the first 2) but when you think about it that's absolutely incredible. If one were to believe in miracles this might just be one.
