One of my leagues gives 1 point per yard! Average returners have much higher scores than LT or Peyton! I e-mailed the commish to change this but don't know what he'll do. I assumed it was a mistake - if he did it intentionally, his team would be stocked with returners, but it isn't. When/if he'll fix it remains to be seen, but it's idiotic right now.

Seems bad enough that Brees got almost the same number of points the other night as Manning since this league gives one point per reception, but since I'm a Brees owner, I won't gripe too much! :D

I'm thinking I'd better grab Burleson since he does PR and KR, plus is competing for a starting WR position

my league has this too, I just noticed: " Return Yards (10 yards per point)"

QB, WR, WR, RB, TE, W/R, K, DEF, D, D, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN

should I be grabbing guys like Burleson or Cribbs in lieu of my some of my bench WRS? Ginn Jr, and Welker have been drafted (which I was wondering why anyways)

RB
Steven Jackson - Ronnie Brown Marshawn Lynch -
WR
Torry Holt - Bernard Berrian D. Henderson - Kevin Curtis - P Crayton
QB
D. McNabb
TE
Heath Miller Eric Johnson
K
Adam Vinatier

thinking of dropping K Curtis for Nate Burleson or possibly Antwaan Randle El.............

EDIT: not sure if anyone caught that Ellis Hobbs TD but it got me thinking about starting him in the D slot, because he plays cornerback and returns kickoffs as well

if anyone else is in a league like this consider picking up DBs BJ Sams, Allen Rossum, Ellis Hobbs, Chris Carr, T. McGee for D positions on your team, all of these players are DB who return punts and kicks listed as 'D' players Sams and Rossum are dedicated KR/PR men while Hobbs starts on defense and only returns kicks

BJ Sams already has 17 points tonight in this format, not bad for a D slot, McGee was worth 17+ as well

I never really thought about this much until this weekend, with Peterson, Hester, Ginn and Cribbs all having amazing weeks. My league awards 1pt/10 yards returned, as well. And can you imagine, people are finally starting to catch on. Mostly its the people who are desperate at the bottom of the league standings. Luckily Cribbs is still available in my league and he is averaging 15 points/wk right now. He is on a bye week this week so hopefully nobody will pick him up. He is a must-have since the Browns D is so awful.

Leon Washington ;-D

you probably can get him for cheap, returns punts and kickoffs, and gets receptions and carries, Id be willing to bet he is one of the leading scorers in a league that rewards high for return yards

Leon is already taken unfortunately, but I might be able to swing him in a deal.

If you're asking me, I grabbed one DB in Dexter Wynn who is the Texans KR/PR (he was a a top ten IDP in return yardage league last year) but I did'nt look to integrate KR/PR recievers/RBs etc into my roster, some players like Terrence McGee are true IDP studs because he is a real playmaker on defense for the Bills as a DB and ALSO is a PR/KR man, wish I could have grabbed him

Josh Cribbs and Ted Ginn Jr are top scoring WRs in this format
