Well, I don't get to see a lot of Chargers games first of all. Secondly, its more of one of those every time I see him I am shocked at how well he runs the ball.

probably will, but just because LDT wore down the D for him
I dunno if it was LT that wore down Chi. Everytime LT was running the ball, it was gates + jackson, meaning the box was overloaded. Changing the snap count helped with the blocking and Turner was just running over anyone in the game. Trade turner to Green Bay! lol
Anyway, very good game, hard hitting defensive game.
I'm wondering if tommorow, the sports media will try to spin this as Grossman losing us the game and calling for his head, when in reality 3 incredibly boneheaded fumbles cost the Bears this game. It wouldn't have even been close if not for an amazing (but questionable) play by Tommy Harris at the goalline. I expected a loss but the first half they easily played well enough to win.
That game was SO even without the turnovers. The Bears offense and special teams lost this game for Chicago. Unforgivable screwup by McGowan in ST on the punt. Tries to be a hardace and lets a punt hit him. It was super competitive, minus the stupidity, the fumbles by both Peterson and Benson, the stupid late hit by Vasher.
I have to think the schmidt is going to hit the fan this week in Chicago. Would have been nice to take the upset win as a season opener.
Still, anyone who expected more from Chicago than they saw, is a pure homer. They did a killer job on Tomlinson. You had to expect more points on the board than that by SD.
Good game, in many ways, but I want to see some of these problems cleaned up, fast, if this team wants to pretend it's improving.
