And that is NOT Larry Johnson..Im talkin Lamont Jordan.. So far 125 All purpose, 6 Rec's and a TD. I understand it's the Lions and the 1st game, but I like his schedule and having him as my RB2..Go LJ
With all the dump-offs that OAK is running, is no surprise that hes having a great day. Still, its the DET cover 2 defense that is giving them the underneath and short stuff. I'd say he makes a great sell high.
TEAM A LEINART, farve HOUSH, ROY WILLIAMS, DRIVER, hackett, bennett, marshal RUDI, BUSH, JORDAN, green HEAP
TEAM B PEYTON WAYNE, BOLDIN, MARSHALL, gonzalez, marshall PARKER, GREEN, chester, betts WINSLOW
Sure don't expect him to get 30 points against SD..However against Cle, Den, Mia, KC, Tenn and Hou (6 of his next 7)..I expect him to put out some fine fine #'s

That also could make him excellent trade fodder to get a better RB with a much easier 2nd half.
Ditto the above. You also have to realize, Detroit's up-tempo style with clock stoppage makes their games much longer with more possessions. Everybody's stats are inflated, I would not take anybody's performance in this game as an indication of things to come until you see a full 6 games at least.
2 things stick out in the reason I think he will have a successful 1st 6-8 games..The receptions, I totally see Oak dumping alot of passes to him, he had 9 receptions today and of course the schedule, how many other back have a schedule like his that include playing the likes of Hou, Cle, KC, Tenn, Den & Mia over the next 7 weeks.. I for one think he will have quite a bit of success over this stretch..
