Why are All These Studs Duds Week 1 ?

I've seen alot of posts basically asking this question. Add the basic fact that it's week one and teams are still adjusting to new players, new coaches and new schemes along with the fact that D's are usually ahead of O's in the first week. Don't panic and blow up your team after the first week with selling low on studs.

I have always had a theory about fantasy football:

Week 1 is ALWAYS an abberation.

Which really sucks for me, because my team was rock solid. It will probably be my best game all year.

But seriously, things always seem to happen in Week 1 that statistically just don't make sense. I don't even pay attention to it. Next week starts the normalcy of the fantasy season.
