question about Yahoo scoring for Eagles DEF

Postby d_gratch » Mon Sep 10, 2007 10:54 am

Yesterday, Y! listed philly defense as only giving up 10 points because even though GB scored 16 total, 6 came from a touchdown scored off a Greg lewis fumble. Today it changed, and it says philly gave up 16 points. I also have Indy defense on my bench and it says that they gave up only 4 points even though NO scored 10. Again it seems like they aren't counting NO's defensive touchdown. There's a discrepancy here. Does anyone know how it works?

Yeah, I'm a commish who has a team owner bitching to me about the Eagles thing. Not only because of the change from StatTrack last night to our league page this morning, but also because Green Bay's defense is being awarded a touchdown for that fumbled punt recovery while it's counting against Philly's defense.

Can a touchdown be awarded to one team's defense while counting against another team's defense on the same play? Hmm ...
