Bench #1 WR playing the Broncos(Champ Bailey)?

You guys have to remember that even the #2 WR on teams is now being covered by Bly, another darn good CB.

With Bailey, Bly, and Lynch in the secondary you will see many passing games shut down by Denver this year, and that's exactly why I picked them as my defense. Teams will have to run to beat them.

Now, if the WRs name is Harrison, S. Smith, Holt, etc you never sit them regardless. However, as the original poster asked, if the WR is a semi stud like Colston, Burress, etc I most definitely sit them assuming I have a better option.

I would say yes but that decision burned me a few years back when Chad Johnson had a monster game against Bailey and I had CJ on my bench. The general rule is you never bench your studs unless you have a semi-stud with an excellent matchup in his place.

Good point. You're not going to bench Plaxico in favor of Joe Horn, but you might bench him and start TJ Houshmandzadeh instead. (Assuming he isn't already starting for you!)

Yeah I don't get to watch many Denver games, but the one that sticks out in my mind is Harrison getting one catch for hardly anything against him last season. And this was not exactly Losman throwing to him. Smart QBs avoid him, not beat him.
