I liked the stat line but i didnt like the fact that Jon Jansen is out for the season. dang.
Before you go talking too much smack remember this is only one game and he only got 17 carries, hopefully he gets more as the season progresses but if he only gets 17 touches a game hes going to have trouble putting up good numbers. I'm just excited to watch the MNF game next week.

Portis is my rb3 in 3 leagues, and my rb2 in another league. I feel he is going to be great this year, he even said he is fighting for his career in washington and his image for another potential team.

I love portis, I just don't love the amount of touches he gets...less than betts...there is only so much u can do with 15ish carries.

it's only a matter of time. portis will get an increasing amount of touches each week. by week 8 we're all going to be saying "betts who?".

For some reason I dont think Portis is going to be a good long term option for teams. I agree he will increase load for a few weeks, but I just can not see him going over a month as the primary back without getting hurt. Betts is going to be a force at sometime this season.

In that case it would be smart for the people who will regularly start portis to have drafted betts or try to make a trade to get betts ;-D

all i'm saying is, if you frequent the ww/trade advice forums in the future be prepared to hear a variation of this phrase: you can afford to drop betts. :-D ;-D
