I am not too high on LJ this year, but he has put up decent yardage playing week 1 with little practice, and week 2 against CHI Def. What do you all think?
He's not going to be the LJ of the last couple of years, but I think he's going to be a solid, not great starter on fantasy rosters for the rest of the season.
he should be better in the second half of the season then he is now. once he gets back into football shape and starts to get going and defenses start to wear down. since starting he has produced much better in the second half of the season than the start. he is definitely a buy low candidate but things aren't going to get better for a while on a consistent basis.
I'ma have to disagree, I think he's gonna get better in a hurry, this week he played against a very good defense and they were down most of the game, and while many of you will probably say "well they'll be down all season" you have to figure that like 10 of Chicago's points yesterday basically belong to Devin Hester, so not really a normal situation there.

except the fact that the bears offense is mediocre at best. im willing to bet most teams will put up more than 20 on KC.

That's exactly the point, D. Hester only made the score what MOST teams will rise to against that defense.
That game was more an indictment of Rexgrossman than anything else.
