You could probably learn more about the Bears defense by watching films of the first two weeks than by interviewing Tank. As mentioned, he's not the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree. I'd think Dallas may have tried to sign him this week just in case he knows something but his main value to them is on their D line. You have to figure that the Bears also know Tank is now in Dallas and will switch any "secret" signals that Tank may still know.
Go Bears!

Thats what everyone said about TO before we signed him, thats worked out fine...

and its not like ratliff doesnt do a good job everone here keeps saying he plays well, but we need depth, and a huge body in the center....ratliff will still be our primary NT, but in our Nickel formation it will look like this...

Ware
T. Johnson
Ratliff
Hatcher

Burnett
Carpenter / R. Williams

Thats when Tank will be of most help in his primary position he was in at Chicago, and thats when we should see the most of him

TO and Tank have different baggage though. TO's is mostly words and odd media stunts. Tank's is criminal, filled with assault rifles, handguns, and a dead friend/bodyguard.

yea well hey, it is what it is...until a problem arises here in dallas I could care less...his salary is less then 285K, he only has to be paid for the 2nd half of the season, and its a no risk/high reward type of deal...with the potential and ability that he has only good can come out of it, if a problem arises, he can be cut with no hit to the salary what so ever...

so its basically a win/win situation...anytime you sign a player for that type of contract you dont have to worry about many problems, as they are not tied to your team

They have gun laws in Texas???

Good signing. Until he proves to be a problem in Dallas then he's got a clean slate. Ratliff is playing well so far but depth never hurt and you can't tell me that anyone here would take Remi Ayodele over Tank Johnson. That's basically what it comes down to.
Still looking for that Eagles trophy case...
