Postby The Lung » Tue Sep 18, 2007 9:37 pm

Click the link for a list of the Week 8 leaders in looks and touches. It defines those running backs and receivers who received the most attention this past weekend.

Touches is defined as the number of times a running back carried or caught the football.
Looks is defined as the number of times a player was the intended target of a pass.

Chris Chambers really has improved since last year. So far, so good. I think this is the Chambers we all expected last year. It appears as if he did some work to get re-focused on catching the balls, and Trent Green really is locking in on him it appears.

Yea Chambers always had the looks...just way too many drops. It was hard to watch him last yr, he always did nothing or got that one td that he caught out of 20 balls lol. Right now he is consistent which I'll take over getting random tds.

Most of Chamber's drop problems last year were caused by Joey Harrington, sure he dropped the ball, but if the ball was more on target or thrown at the right time then it would have been a hell of a lot easier for him to catch them. He's showing that now with Trent Green at the helm.
