0-3 = Almost kiss the playoffs goodbye?

Im not the 0-2 victim, but raise this question. If you go 0-3 after week 3 from what Ive seen you can pretty much kiss the playoffs goodbye in a 12 man league where 4 teams make the playoffs as you most likely know you have to have between a 9-11 win season (saying the playoffs start week 14) just to make the playoffs.. So if your 0-3, you have to go between 9-1 to 10-0 just to be considered in the playoffs.. So is 0-3 the kiss of death?

I wouldnt say you are done for sure. especilly this year when so many top players havent produced in the first to games. I am 1-1 0-2 in a few league that I expected to be 2-0 in and I am far from panicing. I know that players like SJax, LT, and the entire Saints team, are going to turn it on sooner rather than later. If nothing has changed in a couple of weeks then I start to panic.

My league last year, the champion started 2-5, won the final six games, snuck into the playoffs and won the whole thing on the back of Steven Jackson and Michael Vick.

It's unlikely, but crazier things have happened.

I think something like that is even more likely to happen this year. Use this slump as an oppurtunity to buy low on stud players that are a sure bet to turn it around. LJ isnt going to just go away in one season. Everyone is panicking like crazy with him. He will turn around and is the ultimate buy low in my opinion.

This is not like NFL where when u go down 0-3 you are doomed. Fantasy anything can happn... all you gotta do is make playoffs and that isn't too difficult startn 0-3. From playoffs really anything can happn!

Two years ago I started 0-5 and went on to win my league. Larry Johnson was a beast.

0-3 is rough... I'm my 14 teamer last year the top 2 teams didn't lose 3 games all year (all 17 weeks).

I'm in 4 leagues and if I had an 0-3 team, I'd probably give up on that league... unless it was my keeper in which case I would start planning on selling for the future. So yeah, I'd give up on 2007...

Giving up on your team just ruins the league for everyone else.....I've already had three leagues ruined becuse of people that have done that. Horrible advice.
