0-3 = Almost kiss the playoffs goodbye?

Giving up on your team just ruins the league for everyone else.....I've already had three leagues ruined becuse of people that have done that. Horrible advice.

Good point... I didn't mean leave injured players in a stuff like that. I would check the team and fix the line up, but maybe spend 15 minutes a week on that team vs my obsessive compulsive behavior over the others.

Agreed, but I don't think he meant "give up" as in stop trying.

I think anyone who posts on this forum knows better than to do that. You are honor bound to try your hardest (within reason) at all times, if you want a league that's worth playing in at all.

Sorry, I misunderstood. It is a sore subject with me because I have wasted a ton of time on those three leagues I mentioned earlier and now that is all wasted. I would agree with what you said here.

Three years ago, the guy who won the league started 0-6. He didn't have some freaky LJ situation or anything like that. His team just got hot.

I'm 0-2 in both money leagues. And still calm.

I started off 3-3, which isn't exactly a good chance of missing the playoffs, but I rattled off 8 straight wins to make the postseason. I would say 0-6 is a pretty good time to count on not making the postseason, and trying to rebuild your team if you are in a keeper/dynasty league. I'm pretty sure I didn't have an 0-4 team in any of my three leagues last season. Don't give up, especially if it's a league with veterans and attentive owners.

it depends on how big your league is and how competitive...im in 14 team leagues and last yr teams started 0-4 then won out from there, point is teams can do a flip flop, some are patient with what they have, some make huge trades to get better....


last yr i went on a 3 game losing streak mid season, right around playoff time and was almost on the outside looking in, so i proceeded to package my backups with starters to upgrade however i could(trade MBIII on my bench with Chambers for Chad Johnson type deals) and i snuck in...so if your team is strong and puts up points wait it out, if your not putting up points id make moves before its too late

Agreed. I feel bad for people who only do public leagues because some fantasy owners decide to take on 20 teams and ditch the 16-17 that start slow. It's annoying to me and it has to be extremely frustrating to those who only have that one team.
