Why is there no talk of Kevin Walter

Postby Max Power » Fri Sep 21, 2007 5:45 pm

He is now the #1 in HOU. Not Jacoby Jones.

Is it the fact that he isnt a homerun threat?

My view is that the guy is ahead of Jones on the depth chart for a reason.

what am I missing here?
Oh, people can come up with statistics to prove anything, Kent. Fourty percent of people know that.

that hes been the #2 WR behind Dre the last 2 weeks and has nothing to show except a special teams TD.

i dont know who IF anyone shows up on HOU this week. this is more of game to see what kinda QB Schaub really is. I believe INDY is gonna stack the line against the run and make Schaub beat them with his best guy injured.

Lets see what this guy can do in whats being called the Texans biggest game in their short history

Some people are high on Jacoby because he had all the buzz during preseason. I personally don't think him or Walters are going to get much of anything. Houston's RBs and TE are going to be the main beneficiaries of AJ being out IMO.
The cake is a lie.

Kevin Walters isnt exactly the number one now. Kubiak said He was going to rotate the 4 recievers. Walters isnt anything special. Jacoby Jones has that playmaking ability. I expect JJ to get around 75 yards and a TD.

I live in Houston. I also saw the preseason game at reliant vs dallas. Walter is only starting because Jones is a rookie. Jones is an explosive weapon, walter is not. Daniels will be schaub's first option, then Jones his number 2. By midseason Jones becomes the starter alongside johnson.

Also, odds are the texans will have to throw to either keep up, or in garbage time, so jones will get plenty of chances to make plays.
