This is especially true in terms of companies that export most of their goods to the US. It makes no sense to pay more to buy it from Canada when the entire draw of purchasing Canadian goods was the high exchange rate.

I'm pretty sure tourism isn't out biggest issue here. But you have got it sorta right like CC said in that Canadian manufacturing is gonna be hurt pretty bad. But they should have been preparing for this already and if they haven't it's there problem.

One good thing is it helps all Canadian sports franchises who pay salaries in American dollars but make money in Canadian dollars.
