Can I change my roster?

I heard something like an hour before the first game... So like 12:05 for the first 1:05 game of the day?

Totally depends on where you play. I'm a Yahoo League diehard for years now and they allow changes right up to kickoff. Check with your host to find out for sure.

I couldnt find any info on Yahoo... I will ask my commissioner tomorrow.

Why were people making changes all the way through the afternoon in the sit or bench column?

In Yahoo you can still make changes just prior to the late games (unless your Commish has made other rules) - obviously though, you can't change those who have already played in the early games.
