I'm thinking smart owners already handcuffed S jax with him, but he still may be availible in most leagues. I know I had him, but needed more immediate help, and now my waiver priority will never get him back.
i don't know how good leonard actually is, but sjax was good enough to deal with the injuries to the o-line, while bulger and the air game was struggling.
i doubt leonard is on par with sjax, i feel this is going to turn into the maurice morris craze of last year that didn't amount to much.
Thanks to deluxe_247 for sig, he is welcome to sail with the Captain too! I will win all of the fantasy cafe games.....next year
I agree he probably won't light it up on the ground, but hes a pretty good receiver out of the backfield so he could be a viable flex fill in in a PPR- 50-60 yards rushing, 3-4 catches for 30 or so...not to bad for a bye week fill in.
10 Team, H2H, PPR Lineup: E. Manning - T. Romo W. Welker - R. Cobb - H. Nicks M. Forte - D. Sproles - CJ Spiller - S. Ridley J. Finley - K. Rudolph M. Bryant Arizona - Green Bay
he is a solid back and has good hands so like a couple other posters said he will be a good bye week filler. i doubt he will become the WW pickup that ward was but he should be picked up if still on WW even for a non sjax owner
Even if leonard is starting he's not a good fantasy play. The Rams suck big time and that directly translates to sucky fantasy production from the running game. Maybe that Orlando Pace injury was just too much to overcome for them.

+1. A running game starts with the Offensive line opening up a hole. St. Louis hasn't been able to do that so far this year and the Orlando Pace injury is a huge problem for their team. I'd be surprised if Leonard even approaches the type of numbers Steven Jackson was supposed to accrue.
