The Chicago Tribune expects Brian Griese to replace Rex Grossman as the Bears' starter in Week 4 against the Lions.

The newspaper notes that coach Lovie Smith danced around nearly every question Monday instead of saying his usual "Rex is our quarterback" and suggests that the avoidance of his typical post-game defense of Grossman means that a change is coming. An official announcement is expected Wednesday.
