I just do not see the Chargers doing much damage.. When you got emotions flying around between your QB and RB you got some issues. LT will be in for a very long day as I expect more emotions to fly and the Chargers to put up few points.. Herm Edwards is going to play his D in his face all day long and make Rivers beat em..LOL there!

I think you are being too pessimistic. Even when TO and McNabb HATED each other they still went out on the field and produced. The main problem is the O-line and secondly the pass D. They are underachieving. The O-line is not getting the upfield push the did last year. I don't want to hear crap about 8 in the box either. Think teams just figured out SD doesn't have any WRs and they can stack 8 guys up on the line? The other problem is the pass defense is just getting destroyed. Brady and Favre combined for 650 passing yards and 6TDs the last 2 games.

Not quite done with the first quarter, and LT has a five YPC average (44 yards/9 carries) and a TD.

I don't think he's going to have too much trouble today. The Chargers have some things to prove this week.

I grow dumber every week, if that's possible, as I find myself shaking my head and wondering just how stupid Smith(?) the Bolts GM was to hire retread Norv. Take a 14-2 team and start tinkering with it using retread parts. Just doesn't make sense. And yet I sit here wondering just how it is that they lost again.

Well, throwing three straight times on 2nd and Goal from the five is a good start to screwing things up, especially when your QB had already thrown two picks and cost his team another fumble, and you've got arguably the best RB in the game and arguably the best blocking FB in the game on your roster, and the team you're playing isn't really that great against the run.

That's a good start on how to screw this up.

I wonder if Norv Turner has ever heard of LaDainian Tomlinson?

LT got his 100 ( I was wrong), however the Chargers are much much worse off and got beat (I was correct on that)..Not sure they will win 9 games.. The history of 1-3 teams making the playoffs?..Not so good..
