Before you all hurt yourselves patting yourself on the back. Look at the Top Notch run defences LJ has played. Houston, Chicago, and Minnesota. Those three teams have let 100+ rushing yards once in 9 total games, that team was Chicago. He's played 3 of the top 5 Run Defenses.in his first 3 weeks.

moss is definately a 1st rd pick...in our 14 team league steve smith was the last pick of the 1st and harrison was the first pick in the 2nd...i think moss would of gone around 10th had people known, sadly he lasted until middle of the 3rd...high risk/extremely high reward type pick, personally my drafting style told me to not take a wr until the 4th rd because i knew i could get someone like burress as my #1 so i never really get all the high profile wrs, never have and never really won with any, so i dont know what its like to own guys like moss lol..I always have the best TE, best Def & K, and top core of rb's, and i try to have them make up for a middle of the pack qb, and decent guys at wr because they pop up on the WW every year
Burleson Bowe R. White James Jones Engram
and im sure their were others, were all not drafted and sat available for a pretty long time...and those guys are pretty valuable if you have a great team outside of them, the same cant be said for rbs unless injuries pile up

I think if you go back and read all the LJ threads here at the Cafe you will find a great many of us telling people to avoid him like the plague... It's really no surprise that he's having a mediocre year... Those folks who took him with the number 3 pick should have done a little more research...

KC Sux, LJ will have a terrible year
KC sucked last year, and LJ ran for 1700 yards.
they sucked last year? Didnt they make the playoffs? Huard had some great games passing, they had a much better O-Line. This is different team than last year and it is a worse team. As Plinds said, many of us said he was not worth that pick and would have a terrible year
So far it definitely looks unfortunate to have one of the top 3 picks this year. I agree that most people would have gone some order of LT, sjax, and LJ, but thats not 100% of the time. I think this illustrates another reason why auction draft is the way to go for football. If a guy ends up having a bad year you can only blame yourself for getting him and not how the draft falls to you...
