both of them are on the WW right now in my league. Who do you think will be better? WIll one be better than the other for a PPR league as opposed to a non-PPR league?
Last week was the first time they were on the field together so we might need to see a couple of more weeks to see how it plays out. Initially I thought he would probably be more comfortable throwing to Jennings based on last year.
Last week Favre targeted:
Jones 10 times, 3 in the red zone Jennings 7 times and once in the red zone Driver 9 times and once in the red zone
Yea James Jones was like a half yd away from a TD...James will be used alot in the slot and the packers pass alot, so who knows...i would like to think the 2nd yr guy has a better yr then the rookie, but both are valuable

I'd take Jones just because I have NO MORE ROOM on my roster for injured players and backups. Jennings has hamstring issues. He will be in and out all season. Jennings has more upside, but if they're targeted about the same by Favre, I'll take the guy who is likely to play every game at this point.
Right now it seems neck and neck, with Jennings having a touch more experience but much greater injury concerns and less overall talent. I would go with Jones. I think he is one more tweaked hammy from emerging as the go to #2 guy in GB. Too many tools.
I think, therefore I am. I think fantasy, therefore I am unreal?

Favre really got some chemistry going with Jones in the preseason, but what makes it even more potent is the fact that all 3 are going to be healthy. You get Favre with guys that can catch the ball and you see magic

I think Jennings' injury issues could give the edge to Jones. Jones isn't a burner but he works the slot pretty well and if he gets open, Favre can get him the ball. Jennings' value is in the deep ball where he can get you 80 yards and a TD on 3 receptions.
So who is better? Jennings is 2 on the depth chart and has more value. Jennings can be had off your waiver wire if not this week then next week and is one of the better WRs to stash. I haven't seen anything resembling a running game despite my hopes that Brandon Jackson would perform like an average rookie RB. That and favre's success in the passing game, notably limiting the intercetpions, has me thinking Jennings is the better of the two guys to have right now. Jones is a bye week guy at best right now and unless an injury occurs, he won't be anything more.
