Don't worry, Bly will still be on Wayne and Lynch helping with Clark.

I don't think that Denver will 100% shut down Indy's passing offense, but I would honestly be surprised if Peyton got over 200 yards passing this week.

Manning threw for 345 yards last year against Denver... AT DENVER.

Don't overthink. START YOUR STUDS!!!

But here's the big problem.

Dever has allowed almost 500 rushing yards in 3 games. Buffalo, Oakland, and Jacksonville.

Only Cleveland and Buffalo have allowed more rushing yards. And, Buffalo and Jacksonville are very middle of the pack rushing offenses so far this year.

Harrison may not catch a lot of passes, but it may have more to do with Addai getting 200 yards and 3 TD's rushing than Bailey shutting down Harrison.

My guess is that somewhere in the 4th quarter, Champ bites (ever so little) on a play fake to Addai and Harrison burns him deep.

The "2004 (season)" stats are misleading. It was week 17 and Peyton only played the first two series.

Then again looking back at some Denver/Indy games Reggie Wayne has put up better numbers, much, much better numbers vs Denver than Harrison. I don't see how you can bench him though, it's so tough to bench such a talented WR in that offense.

Past experience does mean something, but... You don't sit a stud. Especially with Harrison off to a slow start, I'm figuring Peyton and Marvin are going to light up some team in the near future. I don't want to miss the points when that happens. If he has a bad week, so be it. He'll be in my starting line up all year.

Honestly when you start benching Marvin Harrison your overthinking your team...

He is arguably the 2nd best wr to EVERY play the game, and he's still playing like he's in his prime, with arguably the greatest qb of all time when its all said and done, there isnt any other wr you could probably have with a greater chance of scoring then harrison...he can score any week easily, and to make matters worse if you bench him when he explodes, and you lose because of it you will feel like crap guaranteed lol...I know champ is champ, but its not like TO didnt make him look foolish when he played for philly, so marvis is definately talented enough to burn him, and its not like manning needs much space...

you draft marvin to start him the entire season, he's the other "safe" pick with peyton

Wayne has to be a must start this week. I know Bly is a pretty good DB, but IIRC Darrent Williams got absolutely toasted by Wayne last year, and Darrent wasn't exactly a slouch. Peyton is intelligent enough to take advantage of any scenario, and although Harrison is likely to have a long day, anything can happen with Peyton at the helm. When it comes to Harrison, I guess I would have to take into account his replacement and their matchup. If you feel safe starting a guy like Chambers, then by all means do it IMHO. This situation turns Harrison into a risk/reward play.
