So my school made homecoming freakishly early this year, so it's tommorrow (we won the homecoming football game 30-0 tonight) Anyway, this girl and I are going together but also like as part of a group. So, what I'm getting at is, for the other peole in HS, do you have in big plans? And for people graduated, any good stories?
Uh... I don't have any stories for homecoming.. but for my senior prom, I had my mom give me cash for my tickets, etc. I got a tux and everything, but instead of buying prom tickets, I spent it on booze and a hotel. So instead of going to prom, me and my date went to Disneyland, then met up with the rest of the group at a hotel and proceeded to get very smashed. Twas good times.

I've got a sad story. My senior year, a guy in some of my classes died over Homecoming weekend. Got drunk with his group and they decided it would be fun to hang around the lakefront in downtown Chicago. Well, drunk + pier + nighttime was a bad idea. Drowned because the area he was in had no place to climb out. His entire group was drunk too, so nobody was able to help him.
Basically, if you get drunk, stay away from bodies of water.

Hate to continue with the downers, but during Homecoming in college a couple years ago a drunk guy fell of an apartment balcony onto the pavement below from about 4 stories up. He died on the way to hospital. Lesson being just be smart if you're drinking and stay on your feet and away from ledges or water.
