big time strategy advice

Postby bbalevic23 » Sat Sep 29, 2007 2:09 pm

There is a new guy in my money league who started out week 1 thinking his team was the best in the world. Man, this guy was rediculously cocky. Anyway, he is now 0-3 and I talked with him the other day in the gym and he said if he doesnt win week 4, he is gonna start trading like a mad man because he is starting too panic big time. He even said he thinks he has a bust in LT this year. There are a few guys on his team that I would LOVE to have and I was hoping you guys could help me think of some good trades to send him for those guys. They are: LT and Reggie Wayne. What would be some good offers to send him? This is my last trade left for the season so I have to make this good. I wish I could trade him S Jax, but since he is on the shelf, I guess thats not an option. Any opinions would be great. thanks

If you like to gamble, Offer him this:

RB Addai
RB Steven Jackson
DEF Denver
WR Roddy White

for

RB LT
WR Reggie Wayne
DEF Chicago

This may or may not pay off for you, but you'd end up with:

QB Peyton RB1 LT RB2 LJ WR1 Wayne WR2 Fitz K Josh Brown and DEF Bears on most weeks.

That's a pretty formidable lineup, IMO.

Why is it your last trade of the year? Your league limits the # of trades you can do? that blows.

thanks for the great trade option. That helps a great deal. I have 2 questions regarding it though. First, even though jackson will be out for a while do you think it will fly with the league? also, what could I use instead of Addai? Could I use barber or is that not enough? thanks again for the help.

How did you get Manning, Addai, Jackson, and LJ? And in a money league no less where you would assume owners would be atleast a little savvy.

lol its a long story how I got this team...one of which I have typed many a times. I might just end up putting it on my signature since so many people ask.

What is your opinion on what to trade? everyone elses opinions are very much welcome and appreciated. thanks

Well the first thing I would do would be to make him some sort of offer with Marion Barber in it.

Barber and SJax for LT and Wayne would probably fly.
