Which dormant RB has the most upside?

Postby spodog » Sat Sep 29, 2007 2:53 pm

Of these RB's who haven't even stepped between the lines yet this year, who has the most upside for 2007?

1. Priest Holmes
2. Ricky Williams
3. DeDe Dorsey
4. Kenny Irons

i'd say ricky williams.

irons and dorsey are buried in the depth chart. if priest gets tackled the wrong way he's paralyzed....

Preist Holmes

Johnson is a power runner, he runs through guys. With his offense, he has to run through 3 guys- Thats not happening

Holmes on the other hand, is a guy whos better in space, and can make people miss. Giving him a screen pass, or a toss with some more room to work with- He would produce better then LJ.

Thats...If he gets the chance to play

I think Holmes has the best shot to do something. But all of them are way long shots and need more than a couple cards to land the right way to make any type of impact.

holmes will not see the field again. it was a ploy to get lj out of a contract dispute. irons and dorsey are, as someone else said, buried on the depth chart. ricky won't be re-instated. so none of these guys will have any fantasy value, in my estimation, ever.

Irons in on IR so I think it's pretty safe to say he's out. Dorsey would be my pick since Rudi is banged up and has taken a beating over the past 3 years. Cincy is thin after him so maybe Dorsey gets a look. I don't like the chances for any of them though.

Well Irons is done for the year, Holmes is likely done for his career, I think Dorsey got released so that leaves Ricky. All very sad options.

Really? I never really followed that situation, just heard he started working with the Chiefs again in training camp back in August and could possibly make a comeback. Haven't heard anything since then so that's news to me.

If you think about it, it would be crazy for him to risk playing again after those neck issues.
