The entire country is weak. I wouldn't be shocked if we don't see a single undefeated team by season's end.

#1 USC let a Washington team hang around all game and they held on to win by 3. They committed 16 penalties. They're just as vulnerable as everyone else.

#2 LSU was trailing Tulane with about 20 seconds to go in the 1st half. They were favored by 6 touchdowns and ended up winning by 25 points after pulling away a little.

#3 Oklahoma, who I've been impressed with all year, shits a brick against Colorado. They didn't beat themselves either. CU outplayed them.

#4 Florida loses. To Auburn. In The Swamp. At night. Gulp. This will probably try to be used as justification of how tough the SEC is, but just remember that Auburn lost to Big East (or Big Least as some call it) powerhouse, USF a few weeks ago.

#5 WVU lost Thursday night to USF. Everyone knew they were a joker of a Top 5 team, but considering how the rest of the Top 15 played, they probably won't fall too down the ladder.

#6 Cal survived against #11 Oregon. They'll slide right into that third rung come Monday. They pretty much control their own destiny now.

#7 Texas loses to KSU. Texas has been terrible all year and I had a hunch on this game. We've now got Nebraska, who got lucky against Iowa State, and A&M atop the Big 12 standings.

#8 Ohio State beat Minnesota 30-7. Whoop-dee-do. Beanie Wells was bigger than some of the Gopher DEs. They should have trounced them by about 15 more points. The defense is worthy of a Top 5 ranking, but the offense is still too little sketchy to be relied on for a 4th quarter comeback. It would not shock me if they drop a game before Michigan.

#9 Wisconsin narrowly edged out Mich St. The defense, who returned everyone from a strong unit a year ago continues to underachieve. This team will lose 3 conference games before the end of the year: Ohio State, Michigan, and I'm calling it now, at Illinois next week. Bank on it.

#10 Rutgers placed another black eye on the Big East when they lost to the Terps.


Garbage. There isn't an elite team in college football.

There may not be an Undefeated team left at the end. The best chance I think is CAL and USF to both be undeafeted at the end of the season.
