How does the "Inactive List" process work; where can I find

Postby tjdoren » Sun Sep 30, 2007 10:04 am

Can anyone describe the "official" process for NFL teams publishing their Inactive Lists on Sundays?

- What is the deadline for teams to announce their inactives?
- Is there an "official" site to find the inactive lists, such as NFL.com?
- What websites have you found that post the Inactives the earliest in the day?
- What are the best websites you have found that give the most up-to-the-minute injury status on Sundays, before Inactives are annouced?

My problem is that I leave for church on Sundays at 10:30-10:45 a.m. (Central). It seems that I usually just miss out on the lists being published on CBSSportsline.com, around 11:00 or so. I'm hoping to find better information earlier in the morning.

THANKS!

I use a combination of ESPN.com. CNNSI.com and this one...

http://www.kffl.com/hotw.php

That site will give you a ton of info... I hope that this helps ya out.

The KFFL site is a good one. Also, ever season I pay one of the big sites for insider access which I find helps a lot on stuff like this. This season I went with ESPN Insider and it's been good. I'm signed up for their text alerts to my phone so I know pretty quick of something is going down. Last season I used fantasyfootball.com's platinum membership but wasn't especially thrilled.
Thank God for Football Season.
