There will be a lot of angry LSU fans if that happens. He earned a lot of respect down here with this win. I feel like the more success we have the more likely he will leave for Michigan.

i think that may have been one of the problems. He has been a great coach for you guys since being there, but has been booed at times. Now that he won that game, he finally EARNED your respect? He may feel that he should not have had to win that game for people to finally respect him.

Just a thought

He has already earned my respect before this game.

You know if one of those fourth down plays backfired fans would of booed him. There would of been talk about how bad a decision he made. That is the nature of SEC football.

Didn't mean you in particular. Sorry i used You, didnt notice that til i went back. I meant the majority. You are right about the 4th down calls. 5 for 5, and if he didn't get one of them he would have been the scape goat for the loss. He has balls man, thats all i can say.

So I was in Baton Rouge for the game (didn't make it inside) and an LSU fan put the Les Miles situation best. They hated him when he first got there. And now that Nick Saban went to Alabama they love him. And they accept the fact that he is going to jump shit to Michigan. I heard from multiple fans there that they are prepared for that to happen and lots of people anticipate it.

I also heard an interesting rumor going around that last week when LSU was playing South Carolina, they interviewed Steve Spurrier. I don't believe that to be true because A) Spurrier's too cocky to interview anywhere and B) I'd find it hard to believe he would interview in the middle of the season and C) I find it hard to believe that LSU would interview him while they're the #2 team in the nation (they were at that point). The thing is, I heard it from a number of people there from LSU students to alumni. Sounded like a rumor that had really spread around campus for some time, so who knows.

Oh, and LSU fans party like no other. If anybody gets a chance to head down to Baton Rouge for a game I highly recommend it.

Not his fault on the INT. We need to score here

I gotta disagree. That pick was 100% his fault IMO. When you're 5 yards away from somebody you don't throw the ball as hard as you can. Tebow lacks touch when close and far. He tries to throw a bullet almost everytime and that causes a lot of bad throws and will lead to many more INT's unless he fixes that.

He was trying to get it to the guy behind him with the bullet becuase it was a tight spot. He just happened to hit ingrams head when he ran across.

It was the third time in the game Tebow had a ball batted wayyyy up into the air. That seems a little to common for it NOT to be Tebow's fault. I do not know for sure though, does Tebow get a lot of balls batted at the line?

not that I have seen. That ball was not batted though, it hit Conelius Ingram in the head and went up in the air

I heard that ball that hit the player was caused by the player not getting the right call do to crowd noise. That was what they said on local radio in Baton Rouge after the game. I am not sure but I think Tebow was interviewed after the game and reported the error was do to crowd noise.

While that is probably true, crowd noise is part of the game and is not a viable excuse. College football players at major programs need to be able to deal with crowd noise.
