oh no, LT only had 140 yards of total offense sunday. if he had been given the ball in the red zone it would have been an excellent game, and turner will give it to him soon enough. if 13 fantasy points is a down game, you have little to be complaining about.

I do think we will see slightly more Turner this year, just because the chargers dont care about the fantasy world, and turner is a good back, it only helps their team to give him more chances before they lose him next year....

on a side note, gates is off to a career year its looking like, god i love having him on my team ;-D

i don't follow...how does that help the team?

LT clearly hates the organization's coaching changes, but hopefully once the offense starts clicking better, as it did this past week, he'll have the more ridiculous stats everyone wants to see. I'm content with the current production, it's just that I need LT to make up for the rest of the crappy team I drafted... ;-)

LT should turn it around, the chargers are going to have to use him more to make sure they win the division.

oakland and denver could threaten their throne for afc west if they are not careful.

2006 thru 6 games: 719 total yards, 8 tds
2007 thru 6 games: 722 total yards, 7 tds

Worst season yet? seeing as last year was the best season of all time, i think he's doing just fine.

because turner is a good back, when you bring him in completely fresh against a worn down defense he will break off a long one every game, and yes LT is a beast, but getting turner 6 carries even will help...

but predicting 11 td's for the entire year, as the author of this thread made, well is looking pretty ridiculous

100% Agree...and for the record, we should keep this thread open to chart how prone LT owners are to dismiss 2007 as LT's "Worst season yet".

Everytime one of these threads would spring up i always wondered if LT owners knew just what he did through the first 6 games last year...and how ridiculous the thought of LT having such mediocre production by his standards through the first 5 weeks was infact a NORMAL sign of things to come seeing as how he has pretty much kept pace from last year's production. If he can start out as "slow" as he has this year and still match his crazy pace from '06...then i see absolutely no reason why we can't expect a TD total upwards of 20+ and yardage totals upwards of 1600-1700+. Too bad week 7 comes as a bye week for him as he seemed prime to explode with more monster numbers...but i don't expect anything less than scores from here on out, as it looks like Turner has finally figured out through 6 weeks that the Chargers are only successful when LT is largely utilized ;-D
