I had Kc/Oak, Chicago/Philly or Pittsburgh/Denver.
Can't go with Philly, way too much of their game relies on McNabb who still doesn't look right. They are coming off a very shaky win over the Jets in a game their offense struggled. Bears are better than they played in Minnesota and their defense will shut the Eagles down, plus Hester can totally change the game in a single play
Everyone is taking Pittsburgh this week over Denver but Denver is at home and I have a weird feeling their defense shows up to play in this game in what will be a very low scoring game. I have a feeling Denver will win but not nearly enough faith to select em.
Kansas City matches up good vs Oakland in most areas. Huard has been playing good, efficient, safe football and the Oakland offense still sucks vs the run which will feature a heavy load of LJ and hopefully possibly Priest Holmes. This game will also probably be lower scoring but look for the Chiefs to own time of possession and come out with a win.
It's risky with what I had but I have faith the Chiefs pull through.
Definitely your best option, but that's a bit scary. I am riding a thin line cause I don't want to go out still holding that bye I have, yet I don't want to waste it too early either.
You're going with Seattle despite them looking completely lost the past two weeks? St Louis gets back Bruce, Bulger, their center, with nothing to lose vs a stressed out, shaky looking Seattle team with no momentum or Deion Branch, and SA looking crappy running the ball... Ye should have used that bye week while you still could!
That could be the trap game of the week.
But what do I know, I've got my life in Herm Edwards hands now...
I'm contemplating the options I have left...I only have one pick.
ARI/WAS TEN/HOU KC/OAK CHI/PHI STL/SEA IND/JAX
I like WAS, KC, SEA, and IND as possible picks. I don't like the TEN/HOU, or the CHI/PHI games at all.
- If Warner is out, I'm taking the Redskins. - Indy would be my next choice but Jax always gives them fits. - Seattle is always tough at home, but the Rams have taken a few there lately. - And I hate those AFC West rivalry games, but KC would be my choice.
I like Washington or Indy. If Warner is out gotta go with the Skins. Seattle is a trap game I have a feeling St Louis will play tough. Bulger will be back and Seattle is on a rock bottom skid the past couple of weeks, there's a great chance they won't come out too hot on Sunday and fall behind early.
KC is my pick this week, LJ's matchup against the Oakland defense is a great matchup for Kansas City and their defense has stepped it up the past few weeks. Plus Oakland's line has issues still and Culpepper hasn't done anything great other than a misleading 5 TD day his passing stats have been sucky.
Wow man. A couple big plays from the Raiders and I was almost out of this thing but the Chiefs managed to come back and sneak out the win. Nothing to this 1 pick deal every week, heck of a lot easier than when I had 10...
Boy am I glad I didn't go with Philly, I was close, but they haven't shown me enough to trust my life in their hands.
Denver showed up to play tonight too, I think they got some notes from the Rockies or something. It's only first half but things are looking good in the early going for the Broncos. Lots of people took Pittsburgh I think, nice!
