My sleeper of the week...someone you should have

Oh well...

On the Falcons first possession I saw a 12 reception night for White on the horizon, only to witness the Falcons offense go into complete and total suckmode for the rest of the game. Which of course was my fear with them freaking having to start two rookie offensive tackles. Joey was getting hit so much in the 2nd half he was not comfortable at all. Limpy ankle wasn't helping either.

Yea I didnt take into account how bad the Falcons O line sucks, and Harrington sucks as well


What hurts even worse is that i lost by 3 points, it was basically that toomer td that killed me, burress went off, Roddy had a solid game with 7 points, and Eli turned the ball over alot, but that drive where Eli threw to toomer did me in, it was so close too, after that last pick I was winning, but of course I figured Roddy would get me just one more and they never even had time to go downfield properly...

O well it happens...still only have 2 losses and in 2nd place

Sorry for venting in the wrong forum, but this seemed like a good spot for this.

I go into Monday night down 141 - 135. My Roddy White vs his Michael Jenkins in PPR. Last drive of the game I'm up 145 -142. Needless to say with 43 seconds left Jenkins catches an 18 yard pass and my opponent ties me 145-145. This is the 2nd week in a row I've tied and am now 1-3-2

Roddy White just got dropped from my team. What kills me is that Toomer was available, and if I had just been thinking about it on a one-week basis, I would have put Toomer in instead of White and won my matchup this week. It wasn't hard to see that the Giants weren't going to give Joey time to throw the ball. The main concern now is that everyone is going to figure that out and just blitz them as much as possible. You can afford to leave holes in coverage because Joey isn't good enough to hit the hot read (and you have a 50-50 chance the receiver is going to drop it if he does get the pass off).

Oh well, I can't blame the original poster for my loss this week. I finally got fed up with Brees and benched him this week in favor of Kurt Warner. Would have been a 23 point swing in a 2 point loss.
