Ski? Snowboard? Anybody else getting stoked for the season

We are skiing Whistler only Monday through Friday so hopefully the crowds won't be as bad mid-week.

Angel Fire. A guy in our church has access to a cabin there so we get free lodging. Our church young adults group takes off there for a weekend every year. It's a blast. Two, maybe three days of boarding and skiing. Not the greatest place to go, but its cheap with the cabin being there.

Went on my first trip of the year yesterday.

Great weather and good snow = nice day on the slopes of Mt Bachelor.

I was up at Snow Summit last month, the weekend after a storm dropped a ton of snow. Great snowboarding, but we haven't gotten any rain or snow in the local mountains since.

I was going to get to go locally about a week ago, but had to cancel because I was sick. I'm hoping to go within the next week or 2 though.

I'm going skiing in Snow Basin in Utah this coming weekend. It's where they held some of the events in the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics. Should be great!!

Never been skiing, but I think I'd enjoy it. I've done the boarding thing a couple times, but it wasn't too 'extreme', just with the kids, but it was a lot of fun. Despite falling down hard and often.
