In the New England @ Dallas game, the Cowboys were backed up on the one yard line of their own endzone and Marion Barber took the hand off and ran into the pile and came back out into the endzone and proceeded to run to his right to escape tacklers and he made it back to the line of scrimmage. The question I have is if Barer was about to be tackled in the end zone outside the tackle box, what if he threw it out of the endzone to avoid the safety, whether he threw it to a receiver or out of bounds out side the endzone, is that not still a safety? Please help
