Owner has a right to cry tonight or.. BIG scoring day

Postby Flyn high again » Sun Oct 14, 2007 8:39 pm

The guy in last place in my league was playing the first place guy tonight. Last place guy had 128 points and was finished scoring. 1st place had only 41 points and LT and Brady to play. Last place guy was already gloating about the win. Who wouldn't when you are up by almost 90 points and the league leader only has two guys to play.

However... LT and Brady both exploded for over 40 points each and the last place guy lost by 3 points. Dohhhh. Glad it wasn't me.

Some HUGE scoring today.

My guy Wes Welker did well. The experts on the radio this morning were saying it might be time to dump him. I laughed. I played him. I'm smiling. :-D

Who scored big for you guys?

Housh all season. I in my auction PPR league I spent about 6m out of my 50m cap, while most top guys were going for 7m, and everyone was ragging that I overspent. He's now the top WR.

That's why you don't talk until its OVER!! You never know what's gonna happen!!

I was debating whether to start Eli or D Anderson. I went with Eli, but it doesn't matter, cuz Cooley, Baltimore, and my new favorite player whom I just acquired via trade, Adrian Peterson WENT OFF!!!! 148 points, with Eli still to go!!

why would you start taunting when the other player has arguably the two best players in FF left to play? that's his fault.

In one league I had A. Peterson and L. Johnson, In my other I had MJD. Won both games. There were definately some scoring eruptions this week.

Brees, Bush, James, Housh, Edwards, Curtis and Stover.....a great, balanced day with a league high 180pts.

Got back around halftime of the early games, and it seemed like other than ADP, there weren't really any big scoring performances. Well, that certainly changed.
