I know many of you out there who draft in a similar way as myself(taking your starting RBs in the first couple of rounds) missed out on AP. I'm curious who you all drafted before him which is now causing you much hate and regret.
I don't think I did too bad, since AP went in the 5th round. My 1st 3 picks before AP: Addai, Westbrook, and Brady.
Unfortunately in the 4th round, I selected Javon Walker!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, it is a 10 team league. I had the 7th pick and somehow Westbrook fell to me in the 2nd. I was shocked too. I guess owners were shying from his injury history. Brady going 14th seems a bit high, since most owners tend to snag RBs first. I almost grabbed Jones-Drew instead of him. I'm feeling quite good about that choice! If you think that was cool, I've already traded Westbrook and Jordan back in week 3 for LT. So now, I guess you can say my top 3 picks are Addai, LT, and Brady. Oh yeah........after Walker(4th) I selected Moss(5th) then Burress(6th). If only I selected AP instead of Walker........uh......all the owners in my league probably would have been quitting by now!!!
In my 2nd year keeper league, I went Benson and Portis in the first two rounds (most of the good RBs got kept). I would have of course done it differently knowing what I know now, but that's how it always goes. I considered ADP in the second, but at that point he was pretty risky what with the RBBC and durability questions.
Also, I would be remiss not to point out the fact that the RBBC and durability issues haven't gone away. Childress is trying to balance getting the ball in the hands of his playmakers as much as possible and having those playmakers on the active roster for as many games as possible. He's not necessarily going to start giving ADP 30 touches per game just because he exploded against Chicago. Everyone expected ADP to outplay Chester Taylor this season, and he's meeting those expectations, but I think almost everyone also expected Taylor to get a healthy number of carries regardless of how much better ADP is than him, because the RBBC situation isn't there because they have similar talent levels. It's there because ADP has an injury history, and Childress wants to keep both his backs healthy all year.

brady 14th overall? wow that's pretty early. as of now he'd be worth that spot, but i'm surprised coming into the season someone would take him that early, they sure didn't get a good bang for your buck out of that pick. Brady was closer to a 3rd-4th round pick coming into the season (30-35 overall)
I got AD in the 5th round in my 10 team money league. Happy to say he's helped me to a 6-0 start.
He was drafted at the end of the second round in my league (12 teams), so I grabbed Addai and McGahee ahead of him...he went ahead of Benson, Thomas Jones, Caddy, etc...smart pick.
In my league Brady went at #36, but getting Westbrook in the second seems pretty ridiculous...
